Recreation Therapy

Recorded Sessions - With CEUs - for 2020 RT Institute Registrants

For Recreation Therapy professionals seeking CEUs due to cancellations from our 2020 Conference, we put together a list of recorded presentations that will make up for those cancelled sessions. Please complete the sessions following the instructions below by July 31, 2020 to be sure you receive your CEU credit. There are 0.95 CEUs available, representing 9.5 hours of instruction time.

We understand you may have had specific sessions in mind, and not all of those could be offered digitally. To make up for this inconvenience, the replacement sessions have more CEUs available than the conference sessions would have had.

Note: California Board of Recreation and Park Certification (CBRPC) recently pushed back the date for Recreation Therapists to renew their state certification and is also waiving the online restrictions. Please see this letter from CBRPC for more information: CBRPC Change in Regulations for Online Learning COVID-19 Impact

Process and Timeline for CEUs

1. Watch any recorded sessions you wish to receive CEU credit for, from the table below

2. Complete the CEU Survey for each session to confirm your attendance (needed for CEUs)

3. Complete the 2020 RT Institute Overall Survey and email your completed survey to erick.kong@csueastbay.edu

4. Complete all sessions and surveys by July 31, 2020 for CEU credit.

Note: when completing the survey, be sure to use the email address you used to register for the Recreation Therapy Institute at the March 2020 CPRS Conference. We currently cannot offer CEUs to anyone who did not purchase them in advance for the Conference. Thank you for your understanding.
